Wellness, awareness, and self care.

Isn’t it just like fate that I would get sick the very month that I am focusing on wellness.

I still plan to share the wellness exercise but I will share that on another day.

As I lay on my coach with a cover and extra pillows I am reminded that we all have days when our well-being is not at peak performance. It’s important that when this happens that we remember to take care of ourselves.

I’m a firm believer in self-care starts with prevention. Eat well, get exercise, engage in stimulating activities, rest and have fun. For me, doing these things are the foundation of preventing unhealthy living. But sometimes we still get sick or unhealthy.

It’s important when we get sick to get back on track to doing the things we need to do. Getting rest, asking for help when we need it, and getting the treatment when necessary.

Be well and take care of yourself.
